Keiser Introduces First Machines in INFINITY Series A Safer, More Versatile Cable Resistance

(March, 2001; Fresno, CA)- Keiser introduces the INFINITY Series-a new line of exercise equipment that provides maximum versatility. The first of the INFINITY Series-Keiser's Performance Zone and Performance Trainer--are new cable exercise machines that offer infinite possibilities in strength and power training. By combining Keiser's world-renowned pneumatic technology with a pulley cable format, the new cable machines offer endless options for speed, power and position, without shock loading to muscles and joints.

The Performance Zone is equipped with 2 adjustable resistance columns that can rotate 100 degrees and be moved into 140 different positions per side. Designed with a fold-down adjustable bench, users can go through an unlimited number of exercises. Keiser's smooth resistance ensures that users can train at a variety of speeds, and work muscles at every angle and every range of motion to increase strength AND power. Even moves that require a great deal of agility such as kickboxing, martial arts or boxing can be done with ease on the Keiser Performance Zone.

The Performance Trainer packs all the benefits of Keiser's technology into a single resistance column. At 2 feet wide and 1 foot deep, the Performance Trainer can easily be mounted to a wall. A great space saver, the Performance Trainer performs an unlimited number of exercises, ensuring maximum versatility and function.

"You can't get a better cable feel," says president Dennis Keiser, about the company's decision to introduce the new machines. "With all the benefits of our technology and the unique features we added, you can exercise just about every body part using one multi-function machine."

Martial Arts champion and fitness trainer Tom Seabourne, Ph.D. put the new Keiser cable equipment to the test by performing Taekwondo moves using varying resistance and speeds. "I threw full-power punches and kicks on the Keiser cable and had NO FEAR OF INJURY," said Seabourne. "Without the weight stack to deal with there was no momentum, no shock-loading. I was able to safely and smoothly increase my speed and power while moving into positions that require a great deal of agility. I cannot say that about any other power training device that utilizes a weight stack. And believe me, I have tried them all!

Keiser's Power Zone and Power Trainer:
· Are multi-function machines that allow for full freedom of movement
· Ensure smooth, consistent resistance at any training speed (no shock loading to joints)
· Allow users to train all body parts
· Offer adjustable columns that can position in any direction and rotate in a 110 degree arc (Columns can also be attached to wall to save space)
· Zone includes a built-in adjustable bench that simply flips out of the way when not in use
